This 12 part course - represents part one of the MSEC (Metaphysical Society) Foundation Course in Metaphysical and Spiritual Studies.

Module A - Syllabus

 Course Available EITHER Online or Attend Workshops

Both Courses cover the same subject mater, however the online version has been professionally adapted to an online format and includes one to one tutor feedback, plus class forums and discussions. See below for further info.

Online Course -
Commencing  Friday 24th September 2010. 12 part course, i.e. 1 key per week, so you can fit learning around your life and study from home.  

Attendance Course- 
Same course, same material just covered in 6 attendance workshops.

Course Fee- Module A £420, or £360 if paid in full before class starts saving £60.

Module C - Living the Principles  

(Part 3 completes MSEC Foundation Course) April 2011. 6 part course. 
The 'How to... module' which concentrates on explaining and demonstrating how to bring Metaphysics into action in our own life. So that these Principles can be lived and experienced. Tuition fee (£450)

Counsellor/Practitioner Training Course
Commences September 2011. Open to graduates of MSEC Foundation course. Here we take the principles and practice already learnt, and transpose it to a Holistic Counselling setting. Clients seek counselling when they are at different states and stages of understanding, distress and Spiritual Awareness. As therapists we need to be able to assess the client's current situation, diagnose the underlying causes and limiting beliefs. Then adapt our counselling so that we meet the needs of each particular client. We then steadily guide them (at their own pace) towards a greater sense of wholeness, peace and understanding.  Practitioners need to demonstrate they understand the principles, and can competently use a wide variety of methods and techniques.


18 day accredited training course (tuition fee currently £1440), requires home study, portfolio, case histories and examination. Upon successful completion, insurance, CPD etc. a graduate can set up their own Metaphysical Counselling Practice, become a member of the Metaphysical Society (MSEC), or join the ICNM's (Institute of Complementary & Natural Medicine) British Register of Complementary Practitioners. Online Training

e-courses are ideal for anyone who

- who wishes to study at a time that suits them e.g. day, evening or weekend.

- who travels or has an irregular working pattern.

- or if you live a distance away and would prefer to travel only occasionally to classes

You require only basic computing skills i.e. the ability to type and send an email, to send an attachment and to search online. These courses are based on a secure password protected site and training is given as you go along. There are online class forums, discussion groups etc. so you can get to know your class members and interact on a regular basis.

You get individual feedback from Debbie Austin, a qualified online tutor and practicing Metaphysical Counsellor and Teacher.

Module A commences 24th September 2010. Modules B & C due to start January and April 2011 respectively.

For those online students who are interested in becoming Metaphysical Counsellors, much of the Practitioner Course can be delivered online. However due to the practical nature of counselling skills, attendance workshops will be required from time to time. These workshops will be blocked together and arranged well in advance.
