Metaphysics is also a Holistic Counselling Therapy
with professional training options.

This training is recommended for-
Anyone who has a passion for studies in consciousness, self-awareness, personal and spiritual growth, or helping others transform their lives.
The professional options would be of particular interest to life coaches, counsellors, alternative health practitioners, yoga teachers etc. However anyone can join, as everything requires is provided within the courses.

The Metaphysical Society (MSEC) Practitioner Training Route has 2 main components, the Foundation and Practitioner Courses. [Facilitator and Teacher Training options can be added at a later stage]. Uniquely this entire training route has been approved by the ICNM (Institute of Complementary and Natural Medicine). And upon successful completion, Practitioners have the option to join the British Register of Complimentary Practitioners (BRCP). 

1. The Foundation Course is an 18 day course, usually studied part-time over 1 year. ATTENDANCE classes are available at various locations around the UK or you can study ONLINE wherever you live.

The next Foundation Courses start in September and October 2010, The School of Metaphysics are offering courses Online and in Hertfordshire (NW London), and Telford (West Midlands). The course tutor will be Debbie Austin, a qualified MSEC teacher/ trainer/practitioner/facilitator and online tutor.

 

Colleagues offer classes in London, Eastbourne and Devon. No matter where or how you study, you can be assured of a supportive group environment.

 

The Foundation Course is split into 3 parts
Module A - The 12 Keys to Consciousness.
Module B - Expanding Awareness and
Module C - Living the Principles. 
Some people study all 3 modules, some just start with Module A and see how they progress. An MSEC Foundation Certificate is issued on completion of all 3 modules, this Certificate is required before progressing to the Practitioner Training Course.

Both Courses cover the same subject matter, however the online version has been professionally adapted to an online format and includes one to one tutor feedback, plus class forums and discussions. See below for further info.

Commencing  Friday 24th September 2010. 12 part course, i.e. 1 key per week, so you can fit learning around your life and study from home.  

Attendance Course- 
Same course, same material just covered in 6 attendance days. 10am - 4.30pm

Hertfordshire Attendance Course
A1 - Sunday 19th September
A2 - Saturday 2nd October
A3 - Sunday 17th October
A4 - Sunday 7th November
A5 - Saturday 20th November
A6 - Saturday 11th December 2010

Venue - Hemel Hempstead, Herts. Near to M1, M25, A41, main line train, airport and coach links, hotels and B&B.

Telford Attendance Course - 3 weekends
A1, A2 - 9th &10th October
A3, A4 - 13th & 14th November
A5, A6 - 4th & 5th December 2010

Venue - Telford, Shropshire in West Midlands, Near to M6, M54 and main line train and coach links. Hotels and B&B nearby.

If for any reason you are unable to attend a particular workshop, it is possible to swop across to the other course for that date, or catch up next time that class is taught.

Course Fee- Module A £420, or £360 if paid in full by 31st August 2010, saving £60.

MSEC Metaphysical Practitioner Training Course

Open to graduates of MSEC Foundation course. Here we take the principles and practice already learnt, and transpose it to a Holistic Counselling setting. Clients seek counselling when they are at different states and stages of understanding, distress and Spiritual Awareness. As therapists we need to be able to assess the client's current situation, diagnose the underlying causes and limiting beliefs. Then adapt our counselling so that we meet the needs of each particular client. We then steadily guide them (at their own pace) towards a greater sense of wholeness, peace and understanding.  Practitioners need to demonstrate they understand the principles and can competently use a wide variety of methods and techniques.

 

Full training is given and course notes provided, however please be aware this course requires completion of home study, a reading list, a portfolio, case histories and an examination. The amount of work required is not excessive but it does require dedication from the student.

      Upon graduation a Practitioner has the option to -

• Set up their own Metaphysical Counselling Practice,
• Become a member of the Metaphysical Society (MSEC)
• Join the ICNM's (Institute of Complementary & Natural Medicine) British Register of Complementary Practitioners (BRCP)
